Having previously lived in China for over 20 years, Haiqiao has an in-depth and personal understanding of Chinese culture. He was a solicitor at the leading Chinese law firm Zhong Lun’s London office and at Forsters LLP where he developed solid technical skills and further expanded his experience in helping Chinese clients step into the UK market.
Haiqiao qualified as a Solicitor in 2016 and is also a qualified lawyer in China. Mandarin is his native language and he speaks fluent English.
He is particularly experienced in acting for high net worth individuals from China investing in central London properties. He is skilled in bridging the diversities between Chinese and western cultures whether legally and commercially or personally.
Recent experience:
- acting in over 800 new build property purchases in the last four years with a total estimated transaction value of over £480 million
- acting for a family office regarding the bulk purchase of properties in west London worth around £32 million, including helping the client to structure the transaction from the perspective of mitigating SDLT
- acting for a high net worth individual on the purchase of a prestigious large single floor leasehold property in central London worth £25 million.
