Sean is a commercial and residential property solicitor. His experience includes handling all aspects of commercial and residential real estate acquisitions and disposals, including complex and high value transactions, acting for sellers and buyers. This extends to supporting the property aspects of business purchases including purchasing business assets such as hotels as a going concern or through share purchase.

He also has considerable experience of dealing with complex finance transactions with different lenders in relation to acquisitions and development.

His expertise includes drafting and advising on leases, deeds of covenant, licences to assign, and all matters relating to lease registration, as well as leasehold enfranchisement.

Sean is also highly experienced in handling all aspects of property development work, including acting for developers on the acquisitions of different types of premises, preparing option and pre-emption agreements, drafting grants of leases and dealing with the eventual sale.

He also represents clients in connection with landlord and tenant matters including bringing and responding to claims for breach of covenant, claims for possession, dilapidation claims and disrepair claims. This extends to handling advocacy at the Leasehold Valuation Tribunal.

He also represents clients in respect of planning contraventions including appealing enforcement notices and defending prosecutions brought for breach.
