Partner Elizabeth Vago calls on government to open up green hydrogen in Energy Manager Magazine

Our renewable energy partner Elizabeth Vago has had an article published in the June edition of Energy Manager Magazine, discussing the government’s recent RTFO consultation on green hydrogen.

The article states that government departments need a more connected approach in order to allow green hydrogen to be part of Net Zero. It considers the benefits of green hydrogen, including reduced C02 and noise for road transport, and examines the obstacles in place because of current legislation.

Elizabeth concludes that the consultation was not sufficient, and makes suggestions around how to open up access to green hydrogen, “addressing the current lack of uptake of renewable transport fuels.”
