Alison is a 23-year qualified Solicitor and Trust and Estate Practitioner. Although she has previously advised on a full range of private client matters — including wills and succession planning, trusts, tax and estate planning, charity law, and mental capacity — Alison and her team now focus on complex probate and estate administration matters.
Alison works closely with high-net-worth families, entrepreneurs, and business owners to navigate the legal, tax, and practical challenges that can arise following a death, particularly where international aspects, business interests, or family dynamics add complexity. She helps clients resolve sensitive matters efficiently and with discretion, ensuring estates are administered smoothly and beneficiaries’ interests are protected.
Prior to merging with Spencer West in July 2021, Alison ran her own boutique law firm for 10 years, offering a highly personalised and bespoke service. Her approach is pragmatic, meticulous, and empathetic, ensuring that clients receive clear, strategic guidance tailored to their unique circumstances.
