Ashley’s practice covers structuring private capital global investment holding structures, including advising on key family governance aspects, for internationally based High Net Worth Principals and their families.
Ashley often directly advises such Principals, in co-ordination with their Mayfair based single-family office Counsel, on structuring across multiple jurisdictions and asset classes. A key focus is on global asset protection for the Principals investments, including planning the transition to the Next Generation in accordance with maintaining tax efficiency and overall family cohesion.
Ashley commenced his international legal career as a Solicitor with Mallesons in Sydney, Australia in Mallesons’ corporate finance tax advisory & Federal tax litigation group.
Ashley is a Freeman of the City of London Solicitors’ Company.
