Sam Todd

Sam is a Trainee Solicitor assisting Robert Hurling in the Court of Protection department at Spencer West. Sam assists with managing deputyships and personal injury trusts, as well as all types of financial applications to the Court of Protection.

Sam has experience of assisting applicants and respondents with contentious and non-contentious applications to the Court of Protection including statutory wills, gifts, variations to deputyship orders, including permission to purchase property, amendment of surety bond, termination of deputyship, family care payments and the appointment of family deputies. Sam is a member of the Professional Deputies Forum.

Sam has previous experience with assisting on high value personal injury litigation from both the claimant and defendant side. Sam has also previously been on secondment with an insurer, where he managed a case load of pre litigated personal injury and third-party property damage claims.
