The team is London-based and has excellent working relationships with London, UK and international schools and UK universities. Johanna also has a dedicated team of consultants situated in Europe, UAE and US, who help families relocating to or already based in these jurisdictions. The team is family-focused and the priority is to ensure a placement which allows each child to thrive and be happy. Children are supported with in depth academic assessments, interview preparation and, if needed, private tuition programmes. Focused on the importance of global mobility, Johanna and her team have a deep knowledge of many international education systems and how to transition between them.
Prior to founding Lumos Education, Johanna held senior roles in Whitehall, including advising on European Union enlargement, promoting UK science internationally, and managing bilateral science funds with China and South Africa. She was later headhunted to run a specialist private school for the Lawn Tennis Association, enabling elite junior athletes to balance professional sport with academic education.
