Nathaniel founded his tuition firm in 2009, after working as a private tutor in London and with several families around the world. He was educated at Durham University and the University of Southern California.
As a private tutor, he was particularly inspired to help children who did not find learning easy. In a career spanning 20 years, he has worked with children of a wide range of ages and abilities, from Eton scholars to children facing challenges such as dyspraxia and Asperger’s syndrome.
Nathaniel believes passionately in the effectiveness of carefully managed one-to-one tuition. He now focuses on advising parents on strategies that marry private tuition, school and university applications, and child-specific interventions. He is also a key supporter of enhanced standards in private tuition and a founding trustee of the tutoring charity Tutor The Nation.
