Amanda Lennon comments on gender pay gap
Employment partner Amanda Lennon, who is also our HR & Wellbeing Director has commented on the gender pay gap in HR Magazine.
The HR Magazine looks into the attitude of teenagers to the gender pay gap, with research from job’s site Indeed showing that 40% of young people would rule out working for an organisation with a gender pay gap.
Amanda Lennon comments: “Young people are much clearer on the sorts of boundaries they expect and what they are willing to find acceptable. Although there is a regulatory framework for firms with more than 250 staff to provide gender pay reports, I think it is this sort of strength of feeling that will have more of a difference in terms of reducing gender pay gaps.”
