Andrew is a solicitor with over 16 years’ experience in family law.
Andrew specialises in the financial implications of both pre-relationship and post-relationship; including divorce, cohabitee matters, legal issues surrounding same sex families and the dissolution of civil partnerships; and advice on the drafting of nuptial agreements.
Andrew is also an expert in private children law, advising on child arrangements, the removal of children from the jurisdiction, and Schedule 1 Children Act applications.
Andrew has acted for clients across the spectrum of family law, from high-net-worth business owners seeking advice around the division of their matrimonial finances; to non-married couples in disputes regarding the provision of a property for their child; to parents seeking to take their children to live abroad permanently.
Andrew is a member of Resolution, having previously been a member of the West and North Yorkshire Committee, and is also a family law mediator. He was named in the Legal 500 rankings as “an erudite mentor” and “the go-to advisor for TOLATA disputes”.
