Ayush Ramsooroop

Ayush Ramsooroop is a Barrister-at-Law with academic and practical legal experience spanning Mauritius and the United Kingdom. He was awarded a scholarship from the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple, as well as a Bar Vocational Studies scholarship from The City Law School, and successfully completed his Bar Vocational Studies before being Called to the Bar in Mauritius.

During his time in the UK, Ayush undertook various mini-pupillages, judge marshalling, an internship at a solicitors’ firm, and extensive advocacy training, gaining valuable exposure to courtroom practice and rigorous legal research. He subsequently completed his pupillage at highly regarded chambers and law firms in Mauritius.

A recipient of the Outstanding Student Award during his LL.B., Ayush has developed particular interests in corporate law, artificial intelligence and ethics, arbitration and employment law, with a strong focus on commercial and tax litigation. He combines academic distinction with practical experience and a commitment to principled, forward-looking legal practice.
