Gergana Dzhingarova-Schulze

"My professional approach is characterised by analytical depth, resilience under pressure, and the ability to navigate both legal and organizational challenges in cross-functional settings."

Gergana Dzhingarova‑Schulze is an experienced disputes lawyer with a strong focus on complex litigation and dispute resolution in the fields of banking, investment and insurance law. She advises on high‑value and technically demanding matters, often involving financial products, insurance structures and large‑scale proceedings.

Gergana began her legal education in Bulgaria before studying law at Saarland University in Saarbrücken. She completed her legal traineeship (Referendariat) in Baden‑Baden and was admitted to the German Bar in 2013. She started her career at an award‑winning boutique law firm in Heidelberg specialising in capital investment, banking and insurance law.

Since entering practice, Gergana has represented clients before civil courts across Germany in complex disputes involving investment fraud, mis‑sold financial products and insurance claims. Her work covers both contentious proceedings and negotiated resolutions. She has also acted for investors in real estate‑based financial products and advised on disputes connected to property‑linked investments.

Gergana has substantial experience in handling mass litigation, including proceedings relating to life insurance policies, and has been involved in large‑scale cases against a major English insurance company. These matters have required a detailed understanding of financial markets, consumer protection issues and cross‑border procedural requirements.

From October 2020 until joining Spencer West Germany Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH, Gergana was responsible for managing a nationwide product liability litigation project against an Italian automotive manufacturer. The project involved several thousand proceedings and progressed through two judicial instances, including coordination with counsel admitted before the Federal Court of Justice (BGH). In this role, she led a team of up to thirteen lawyers and was responsible for litigation strategy, evaluation of complex technical expert evidence, coordination with partner firms and external communications.

Gergana is recognised for her clear analytical approach, resilience in high‑pressure litigation and ability to manage complex disputes at scale while maintaining precision and strategic focus.
