Glen Roberts is a dual-qualified private equity lawyer and turnaround advisor who has counseled clients around the globe in all aspects of matters involving the Americas, the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and Asia. Glen has advised investment managers, institutional investors, developers, operating companies, entrepreneurs, family offices and family-owned businesses, financial institutions and governments.
Glen frequently serves as outside general counsel for clients who need not only legal advice but strategic guidance to help raise their standard of operations, to develop and implement financing structures, and to enter into and operate within new markets. - Special situations opportunities involving unique or distressed assets, and investments lacking significant precedent for “market” terms;
- Complex restructurings, bankruptcies, workouts, acquisitions and recapitalisations, including “going private” transactions;
- Asset financings and securitisations;
- Financings in all types of real property and corporate acquisitions and financings (and refinancings);
- Succession planning for family-owned enterprises as well as carried interest programs and similar equity-sharing arrangements for investors and companies;
- The full range of contracts, such as licensing, employment, real estate leasing, and other commercial relationships; and
- Strategic and substantive assessments and revisions of laws and regulations.
