Gurvir gained experience at Merrill Lynch. Trained and practised at a niche City law firm and for many years ran a successful boutique litigation practice, which he set up when only three years qualified. He has gained an impressive reputation in insolvency and restruturing and commerical litigation. Over the years he has acted for award winning entrepreneurs, a former Head of State, an artist to Royalty, leading faith institutions and premier footballers. He has also acted for the Indian state banks, solicitors themselves defending insolvency proceedings and has appeared on national TV in relation to restructuring debt for a hotelier. He has repeatedly ranked in Chambers and Partners for restructuring and insolvency. He takes pride in being known to fight tooth and nail.
