Lead solicitor for Kaizen Cuisine Ltd & Others and Hairlab Limited & Others, a group of six claimants, in Covid-19 “at the premises” business interruption test-case litigation, with a total value of circa £30M. Iryna successfully represented the claimants at first instance in the High Court and on appeal before the Court of Appeal, with the case being recognised in The Lawyer’s Top 20 Cases of 2023 and among the Top 10 Appeals of 2024. - Bellini (N/E) Ltd v Brit UW Ltd [2024] EWCA Civ 435; [2023] EWHC 1545 (Comm)
Acted for Bellini (N/E) Ltd in Covid-19 in the High Court and the Court of Appeal, a landmark decision which clarified the scope of the principle in Chartbrook on contractual interpretation and rectification in English law.
