Jasper de Q Adams OBE is Chief Executive Officer of a specialist protective security business providing bespoke risk prevention, crisis management and integrated security solutions for family and commercial clients.
Jasper brings more than thirty years’ experience in senior leadership, strategy, crisis management and organisational transformation. Recognised as an original thinker who challenges conventional wisdom, he has developed and delivered operational success in demanding, complex and non‑permissive environments across the Balkans, Iraq, Afghanistan, NATO and UK Defence.
During his military career, Jasper served on five tours in the Balkans, three tours in Iraq and two tours in Afghanistan. His operational appointments included overseeing the capability development of the Iraqi Border Police, building the Helmand Provincial Police Training Centre while mentoring the Chief of Police, commanding a squadron on operations in Iraq, and leading an ISTAR Battle Group of approximately 1,100 personnel in Helmand on Op HERRICK 15.
He also has a comprehensive understanding of humanitarian aid and disaster relief, having operated alongside the UNHCR and NGOs during the siege of Sarajevo and the liberation of Kosovo, and later led the planning and delivery of the UK response to hurricanes in the Caribbean.
Jasper has held senior command and staff appointments across the British Army, the Ministry of Defence and NATO. He commanded 7th Infantry Brigade, The Desert Rats, as the UK’s high readiness warfighting brigade, leading more than 6,000 military and civilian personnel. He also served at NATO HQ as Special Advisor to the Chairman of the Military Committee, building consensus across a 30‑nation Alliance during the crisis in Crimea, and subsequently as Director of the Comprehensive Crisis and Operations Management Centre at SHAPE, responsible for NATO’s missions, operations and activities on behalf of SACEUR.
Jasper applies this strategic, operational and crisis leadership experience to the evolving protective security landscape, supporting clients with proportionate, intelligence‑led solutions that integrate physical, technical, digital and human risk considerations.
