- Practiced as an Advocate of District Courts at Karachi from 18th January 1986 to 14th May, l987.
- Served as Civil Judge and First Class Magistrate w. e. f. 15th May 1987 to 10th November 1988.
- Enrolled as Advocate High Court of Sindh on 23-07-1989.
- Served as Deputy Attorney General for Pakistan, from 27-02-2009 to 21-04- 2011.
- Elevated as Judge of Judge High Court of Sindh on 31-08-2013 and retired on 06-08-2021.
- Also served as Judge of the Special Court for a trial of Offence of High Treason under the High Treason (Punishment) Act, 1973 from 13-06-2018 till the final decision on 17-12-2019 and verdict released on 19-12-2019 (Authored Dissenting Note).
- Resumed practice as an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Pakistan from 1st September 2021.
