Starting out in private client and wealth management over 40 years ago, he was persuaded by his substantial clients to deal with their corporate and commercial matters so that, for many years he has spent the vast majority of his time on corporate and commercial matters, both national and international, whilst retaining a number of high net worth private clients and handling some high level dispute resolution, which at the moment includes online fraud recovery. He has been an equity partner in two substantial City law firms as Head of Corporate and Commercial.
Michael can provide up to the minute legal documentation for all commercial purposes (business to consumer and business to business), ranging from intellectual property licences to online terms and conditions, joint venture agreements, media distribution agreements, supply and manufacturing agreements and many others. With his experience, there are few documents that he has not already dealt with and none that he would not be happy to handle within the commercial spectrum. He is a committed contract lawyer. He also has considerable transactional experience in the commercial aspects, the negotiation and the legalities, so whether the business or product is being restructured, is merging, or being sold, bought, capitalised or securitised, he will add value.
