Paul Flude

Paul Flude is an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa and specialises in Private Client and Family Office matters. He focuses on Wills, Estate Planning, Trusts, Deceased Estates, and Relocation solutions mainly for global South African families, entrepreneurs, professionals, and retirees.

Paul has amassed almost 30 years of experience in the legal, trust, property, financial services, and immigration industries in South Africa, the Isle of Man, the UK, Guernsey, Switzerland, and Portugal. Paul relocated to the UK after a period in the Isle of Man, whilst still maintaining his legal practice in Cape Town and strong ties to his native South Africa. He has acted as a CEO, Managing Director, Trustee, Executor, Non-Executive Director, Special Advisor, Legal Counsel, and Key Officer of many family entities, trusts, estates, private and charitable organisations in South Africa, the UK, and the Isle of Man.

Paul’s niche Family Office legal consultancy assists private clients – many of whom are South African nationals – with their South African, UK, and international Estate Planning, Wills, Trusts, Probate, Relocation, Property, and Entrepreneurial needs. He also assists international private clients and entrepreneurs who have business and property interests in South Africa.

Working with the international business and private wealth lawyers at Spencer West and coordinating with licensed international corporate, trust, and residency service providers, Paul acts as a trusted Attorney and Family Officer. He seamlessly co-ordinates with Spencer West solicitors and binds together all the strands of multi-jurisdictional Family Office requirements and Estate Plans for South African families, acting as their Chief Liaison Officer and trusted central point of contact.

As an entrepreneur in his own right, Paul assists South African families to relocate internationally and to migrate their family office and business interests to the UK and other global jurisdictions. Acting as an independent advisor for internationally ‘mobile’ wealthy families, he has also gained significant expertise in the niche sector of citizenship-by-investment and global residence.
