Shahaab Kharal

Shahaab graduated from the University of Northampton and is currently training to qualify as a solicitor under the SQE scheme. 

Shahaab previously worked at Aventus Law, where he worked as a Paralegal, assisting the Director and other members of the team in matters involving immigration, divorce, probate and wills, and dispute resolution.  Prior to working at Aventus Law, Shahaab was a Paralegal at Chatham Chambers LLP in Reading and worked with Spencer West Partner, Ishtiaq Nawaz-Chechi.

Since joining Spencer West, Shahaab has handled a range of matters involving commercial and residential property, dispute resolution, and general commercial matters. 

Shahaab specialises in real estate and private finance, which includes purchase, sale and refinancing of residential and commercial development properties and leasehold properties. Shahaab has experience of acting for borrowers and for lenders in private lending transactions, so that he his able to address matters from both perspectives. Shahaab is experienced in working to the tight deadlines that are frequently a feature of such transactions. He has also advised on several real estate matters involving lending through Sharia-compliant financing.

Shahaab also has assisted in cross-border transactions, involving property and land acquisitions in Pakistan.

• acted on private lending transactions with a value of over £15 million

• acted on an Islamic refinance transaction of a £2.5 million property located in Virginia Water, Greater London

• acted for a publicly listed oil company in the restructuring of their commercial real estate portfolio

• regularly acts on complex transactions involving development sites being purchased by corporate entities
