Somaiyya Saad is a Registered Foreign Lawyer (England & Wales) and a High Court Advocate (Pakistan), with legal experience spanning across the UK, Asia Pacific, and South Asia.
She specialises in Real Estate and Property Finance, practicing on the full spectrum of residential and commercial property work. This includes acting on high-value conveyancing, secured lending, refinances, and assignments. She regularly coordinates complex, multi-jurisdictional transactions involving lenders, brokers, and agents, and have worked on matters with an aggregate value in excess of £5 million.
One property she has worked on during this time later appeared in the Netflix series Baby Reindeer.
Alongside her Real Estate practice, Somaiyya works on Corporate and Commercial matters, with particular experience in asset and share purchase agreements. She has acted for a number of established brands on UK franchise expansions – including Papa Johns, Chaiiwala, and Costa Coffee.
Cross-border work is part of her practice. Somaiyya has advised on refinancing transactions involving French properties, secured multiple UK visit visas and five-year UAE visas for clients with a current 100% success record, and advised on family matters governed by Pakistani law, including divorce and child custody.
Earlier in her career, Somaiyya trained at Ahmer Bilal Soofi & Co., one of Pakistan’s top-tier leading law firms, where she worked on a number of high-profile matters – including the child custody case involving public figure Veena Malik. She also worked with the Pakistan Football Federation and related bodies on constitutional documents and sports governance, with work connected to CONIFA and early-stage football franchise development.
As a Singaporean national, she has also gained experience with leading firms in Singapore, including Rajah & Tann Singapore LLP, one of Southeast Asia’s largest full-service firms, and Joseph Tan Jude Benny LLP, where she gained legal experience relating to shipping law and international arbitration.
