Sophie Angus

Sophie joined Spencer West in 2020 as a commercial litigation paralegal.

She obtained her undergraduate degree in history from the University of Exeter, following which she completed a Graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law, receiving a commendation for both.

Sophie spent two years as a paralegal at a boutique firm in Canary Wharf, which specialised in international arbitration and commercial litigation. Here she gained experience in areas such as property development, shipping and carriage of goods, and the enforcement of arbitral awards.

She also worked for Vyman Solicitors, where she assisted the director of the firm’s Central London office in the litigation department, undertaking work in numerous areas including company, partnership and shareholder disputes, property disputes, adverse possession, breach of contract and repudiation/rescission and insolvency matters.
