Tomislav Krmek is a US‑ and Croatia‑qualified lawyer specialising in international tax and global wealth management. He graduated from the University of Zagreb in Croatia with a Master of Laws degree and from Georgetown University with a Master’s degree in international taxation. Subsequently, he worked as an international tax lawyer at a US law firm, as group tax counsel at one of the world’s largest communications companies, at a Big Four accounting firm in New York, and as a tax associate at an international law firm in Zagreb. Tomislav has also worked as a teaching assistant at Georgetown University.
Tomislav advises clients on international tax planning and global wealth management matters. He has experience advising on withholding tax, tax treaties, permanent establishments, FATCA/CRS, and a range of EU tax law issues, including the Parent–Subsidiary Directive and the Interest and Royalties Directive. Throughout his career, Tomislav has worked with hedge funds, private equity funds, IT companies, family offices, and high‑net‑worth individuals and families.
