Celebrating Community: Spencer West Channel Islands acts for RAFA on lease to the Gremlin Club Guernsey
We’re delighted to share that Spencer West Channel Islands has acted for the Royal Air Forces Association (RAFA) on the grant of a new lease to the much-loved Gremlin Club in Guernsey.
For many years, the Gremlin Club has been a cornerstone of island life — a warm and welcoming meeting place where friendships are made, stories are shared, and community spirit thrives. By securing this new lease, RAFA has helped ensure the Club’s long-term future, giving its members and the wider Guernsey community the certainty that this institution will continue to flourish.
The Trustees of RAFA said:
“As Trustees our aim was to keep the Gremlin Club open and accessible to both Royal Air Forces personnel and our local community. To this end we were referred to SW Offshore. With Michael’s support and guidance we were able to meet this goal and put a lease in place with the Gremlin Club Limited.”
Michael Morris, Spencer West Channel Islands, added:
“It has been a real privilege to work with RAFA on this important lease. The Gremlin Club is more than just bricks and mortar; it is a vital social hub with a proud history in Guernsey. We’re thrilled to have played a part in securing its future so that generations to come can continue to benefit from everything it brings to the community.”
It is always rewarding to be involved in projects that have such a positive local impact. Transactions like this show how legal work goes beyond documents and signatures — it is about supporting organisations and people who bring real value to the communities they serve.
Congratulations to RAFA and the Gremlin Club Guernsey on this new chapter. We look forward to seeing the Club continue to thrive for many years to come.
