Office and Social Life
We have smart, modern offices available for use of our Partners and staff. It is entirely up to each Partner where, when and how they work, so our Partners work from a variety of places and at times that suit them.
Office Life
We have monthly Partner meetings. These are to enable us to get together for an hour over a lunch provided by the firm and discuss the latest developments, encourage networking and collaboration. It’s also an opportunity to have a say in the development of the firm and how it operates so that it can be the best law firm that it can possibly be. It’s a great way to spread the word about the sort of work that each Partner likes doing and finding colleagues with whom to collaborate. The firm also facilitates monthly meetings of each practice area group. This provides a regular opportunity to work together with peers, share latest insights on the law and collaborate on business development.
We also have monthly drinks which are a great chance to meet with colleagues and also catch up with clients and contacts in a relaxed environment.
The firm hosts networking events from its contemporary open break out areas on the first floor of our offices in Chiswell Street. We support practice areas that way and lay on generous refreshments. We are turning this over time into an annual program of events.
The firm will be hosting an annual Partners’ conference, enabling colleagues from across the UK and across the world to share wisdom and enjoy the rich diversity of our community.
Social Life
We arrange social events from lunches through to evening drinks and a ‘let your hair down’ fun activity. A curry evening combined with cocktails and crazy golf at the Junkyard off Brick Lane is next in store!
At Christmas, we have our firm carol service at St Mary-le-Bow, home of the famous Bow Bells (of Dick Whittington fame - whoever is born within the sound of Bow Bells is a true Cockney). We also host an annual ecumenical event that values our rich diversity of faiths, beliefs and cultures. These are great ways to celebrate our colleagues and clients, open to all faiths and none, and with refreshments provided. We love good food, wine and hospitality and it’s part of our collegiate ethos.
