Bethan Jones

Bethan is a specialist employment lawyer, advising a wide range of organisations on the full remit of HR issues, including restructuring and redundancies, business sales and acquisitions, and day-to-day employee relations issues such as grievances, absence, performance management, and disciplinary processes. She has a particular interest in the Education sector, advising schools and academies on policies and procedures, staff dismissals, and managing their relationship with trade unions, but also regularly advises manufacturing clients, charities, hospices, and tech companies. She trained at a Top 100 law firm in the south west, progressing to Partner in 2021, and enjoys long-standing relationships with clients, advising on the ongoing staffing issues they face and gaining valuable insight into the workings of their organisation.

Bethan’s work is split between defending Employment Tribunal litigation, supporting on corporate transactions, and providing strategic advice to manage staffing issues and to assist with planning HR policy. She provides bespoke training for clients on HR issues as well as general updates on Employment law.
