Hudda acts for clients all over the world, wherever there is an English estate or assets requiring management, with a particular focus on estates spanning Ireland and England.
Hudda’s clients benefit from her nearly 30 years specialist probate experience. She is adept at dealing with estates of all sizes and complexities, from those involving businesses and farms to estates with complicated family dynamics or insolvency issues. Known for her approachable, knowledgeable, and practical nature, Hudda has a rigorous eye for detail and is often entrusted by several generations of the same family. She provides reassuring advice at the most difficult and stressful of times, ensuring her clients benefit from her extensive experience navigating the process.

  • Arranging asset valuations with a forward looking approach, mitigating and pre-empting potential issues
  • Entering a caveat to prevent a Grant from issuing
  • Preparing Obtaining a Grant of Probate or Grant of Representation
  • Completing renunciations or reserving power to non-proving executors
  • Filing inheritance tax returns and mitigating inheritance tax and/or capital gains tax
  • Filing income tax returns for both the deceased and the estate
  • Arranging protections for executors and personal representatives against personal liability
  • Asset/share encashment or transfers
  • Preparing estate accounts showing beneficiaries how their inheritance is calculated
  • Providing beneficiaries with required tax information
  • Drawing up Deeds of Variation or Family Arrangements to redirect inheritances
  • Tracing unknown beneficiaries or arranging missing beneficiary insurance
  • Ancillary services, such as registering the estate with the Trust Registration Service (TRS), dealing with property sales, and more

Hudda and her colleagues also provide advice on Wills, Powers of Attorney and issues related to illness and incapacity, general administration of financial affairs, Court of Protection, trusts and advice for trustees, and preservation of assets.

Hudda is a Dementia Friend and actively supports local and national charities, including the Alzheimer’s Society, to raise awareness and funds for dementia care and research.
