Jeetesh Patel

“I work with clients to ensure that their realistic objectives are obtained throughout my involvement in their case. I offer what I call a holistic service – I do not just provide them with legal advice but ensure they are set up for independent living and have any support needed for their children. I support out of court approaches to resolve family law issues as these are quicker and most cost effective. I am equally able to guide and support a client through the court process if this is necessary ensuring that the client’s position in the court process is protected.”

Jeetesh has specialised exclusively in matrimonial and related family law matters since qualifying as a solicitor in 2001. He has developed a strong reputation and has built up his practice acting for many mid to high net worth clients.  He is described in the 2019 addition of Legal 500 as being “committed to his clients”.

He handles a varied caseload including privately funded financial remedy matters, the international aspects of divorce, complex private children act proceedings (including those cases with an allegation of parental alienation), cohabitation, same sex cases and inter-country adoption and international surrogacy.

Jeetesh is also a trained Collaborative lawyer. He has in the past also been a member of the Law Society Children Panel and an Accredited Member of Resolution.

Jeetesh is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a qualified arbitrator for children cases. He can accept referrals for arbitration of children cases through the Institute of Family Law Arbitrators.

Jeetesh’s approach is to work closely with a client to achieve their objectives. He also ensures that at the conclusion of their case the client has all the support they need for independent living and any support that is needed for their children.
