World politics can lead to heightened emotions at work, which may lead to claims of bullying or harassment.

Our employment partner Emma Gross discusses the issues in the context of the war in Ukraine in an article for HR Director Magazine.

She says: “Whilst HR, managers and employers need to be aware of world events in order to support their employees, they must ensure they keep their personal views away from the running of their business. Additionally, they should manage their employees effectively to allow for discussion but protect members of staff from feeling harassed, victimised or bullied.”
