Spencer West guides Mobilitas Group on major expansion with Nottingham Rehab acquisition
Spencer West has advised Mobilitas Group Limited (“Mobilitas”), the holding company behind CareCo (UK) Limited, Globegold Limited, and Motion Healthcare Limited, on its acquisition of the product sales division of Nottingham Rehab Limited (“NRS”).
The deal secures over 13,000 mobility and daily living products and marks a significant expansion for Mobilitas into the product sales market. The transaction also brings valuable trademarks under Mobilitas’ ownership, strengthening its position in supplying mobility aids and products that support independent living.
Mobilitas has grown rapidly since the founding of CareCo in 2009 by Malcolm and William Harrison, with each Group company operating across different commercial and corporate activities in the mobility and healthcare sector. Spencer West has been supporting the Group since February 2023, providing corporate, commercial, and company secretarial advice.
In June 2024, Mobilitas appointed the firm as Outsourced General Counsel, enabling the Group to manage complex corporate matters and strengthen its governance framework.
