Spencer West Launches Office in Rwanda
International law firm Spencer West has launched a new office in Rwanda, marking a significant step in the firm’s continued global growth.
Drawn from boutique law firm Corban, the Kigali-based practice led by Founding Partner Asante Twagira, a well-recognised legal advisor in the region with particular strengths in Project Finance, business advisory, Banking & Finance, M&A and Corporate Commercial matters.
Asante is joined by Managing Partner John Mwemezi Rutta, who will lead the firm’s strategic operations in Rwanda. Rutta is a highly respected practitioner and senior lecturer, known for advising on complex cross-border mandates and regulatory frameworks.
Spencer West Managing Partner Antoine West commented on the importance of the firm’s third office in Africa.
“Rwanda is a burgeoning market in several practice areas that align closely with our firm’s international strengths,” Antoine said.
