Spencer West advises sale of Surgical Holdings to Stille AB
Spencer West has advised the founders of Surgical Holdings Limited on its sale to Stille AB (publ), a Swedish-listed specialist in surgical instruments, for approximately £7.7 million.
Surgical Holdings, founded in 1988, is a UK-based family-run business specialising in the development, distribution, and repair of high-quality surgical instruments for general surgery and orthopaedics. Spanning four generations, the company works closely with the NHS and international partners and has built a reputation for quality and service over more than three decades.
The acquisition will allow Surgical Holdings to grow and develop as part of a much larger entity, while ensuring continuity for customers, suppliers, and employees. Stille gains a direct UK sales and service presence, adding to its existing operations in Sweden, Germany, Switzerland, the United States, the UAE, and Malaysia.
The Spencer West team advising on the deal was led by Corporate Partner Edward Garston, with support from Employment Partner Jasmin Dhillon, Corporate Partners James Klein and John McMahon, and Corporate Trainee Ben Laverty.
