Spencer West Sponsors the Launch of Tech London Advocates Cyprus

On 3 September, Spencer West proudly sponsored the launch of Tech London Advocates Cyprus in Limassol, marking a major milestone in our support for global tech innovation.

Spencer West Cyprus Co-Founders Theo and Christiana Antoniou, who are now also the Co-Founders of TLA Cyprus, are spearheading this initiative to connect Cyprus’s tech community with international opportunities.

Opening the evening, Christiana stressed the importance of collaboration.

The event brought together leading voices from Cyprus’s tech ecosystem, including founders, investors, journalists, and government stakeholders. Two dynamic panels explored Cyprus’s role in the global tech landscape and the ethical impact of emerging technologies like AI.

The first panel, Cyprus in the global tech ecosystem was moderated by Theo Antoniou. Speakers included Nasos Katsiamides of Klidi, Marios Tannousis from Invest Cyprus, Suki Fuller who sits on the GTA and TLA Advisory Committee, Iryna Manukovska former Ogilvy, and Panis Pieri of Panis.News.

The second panel, Societal and ethical impact of new technologies was moderated by Alexia Solomou, Partner at Spencer West. Her guests included Marat Karpeko of Wargaming, Menicos Mavrommatis from IBM Cyprus & Malta, Nikolas Markou of Electi Consulting, Dr. Styliani Kleanthous Loizou from Open University of Cyprus, and Valentina Rzheutskaya of Capital.com.

The launch was a resounding success, positioning Spencer West as a key player in supporting innovation and entrepreneurship in the region.

Closing out the event, Theo said Cyprus was ready to step up on the global stage.
