Clear vision for Globe Opticians as Spencer West advises on merger with Hakim Group
Spencer West has advised the shareholders of Globe Opticians on its strategic merger with Hakim Group, the UK’s largest family of independent opticians and audiologists.
Globe Opticians is a family‑owned opticians’ business with sites across London, established over a twenty‑year period. The merger enables Globe Opticians to leverage the scale, resources and national reach of Hakim Group, which is backed by investment partners ICG and All Seas Capital.
Spencer West Corporate Partner Simon Wilson led the transaction, drawing on his extensive M&A proficiency and experience in the healthcare sector.
Simon was supported by Associate Denis Valkov, with Property Partner Jaymini Ghelani advising on the property aspects of the transaction.
